We undertook a comprehensive renovation of this large lateral apartment, exceeding 3,000 square feet, in the heart of Mayfair, London. Untouched for over 25 years, the brief called for a classic luxury atmosphere, achieved through bespoke panelling, mouldings and skirtings applied throughout every wall and ceiling, with built jounery crafted to blend seamlessly into the existing architecture. Parquet wooden flooring and natural marble stone, introduced across the bathrooms and kitchen, complete the transformation.

The client's extensive collection of antique wall art was thoughtfully reintroduced alongside new uplholstered furniture and soft furnishings, evoking a light and subtly luxurious take on 1940s Hollywood glamour. Toile de Jouy wallpaper features in select rooms, and a bespoke colour palette, chosen in close collaboration with the client, runs throughout. The result is a bright, spacious and thoroughly modern apartment, elevated by the smallest details of classic design.
